12 inch trout caught on Chug Bug about 100 yards from the ramp in the main canal. As a boat was coming by, I simply paddled over to the side to get out of his way, when I saw something tearing up the top of the water. First cast netted this little pretty. |

18 inch red caught on live shrimp under a Cajun Thunder. I can really tell the difference between types of fish when I'm reeling them in. This guy tugged hard at first, then let off, but then near the yak, he made a really hard run towards the weeds. Didn't fight him too hard, let him make a run while I reeled in slowly and grabbed the net. My second keeper red. |

19 inch yellowmouth trout caught on live shrimp under a Cajun Thunder. What a beautiful fish this was. Thought he was a gator trout at first, but not quite. Not a real hard fighter. |
